Day 503 - Otavalo, Equador - 10129 km

The beautiful town of Otovalo, largely habited by the Otavalo indigenous group. It’s well know for it’s Saturday market where one third of the town becomes full of stalls selling textiles, tagua nut jewelry, musical instruments, leather goods, indigenous costumes, hand-painted wear, spices and raw foods.

I took 2 days rest to stroll around the markets and prepare myself for the next ride up in the mountains.
